Billy and friends join the poker brains trust!
Who says poker and sport don’t mix? To recognise poker acceptance as a mind sport the Hachem Management Group Invitational poker event is partnering with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF).
“We want to turn the perception of poker from gambling to sport as we believe it is a battle of the minds” explained Tony Hachem. We chose the Australian Sports Foundation because of its community partner being Giving4Grassroots program which is all about the kids. Since 1986 ASF has helped raise over 300 million in additional funding for Australian sport and we are proud to lend our support.
We would like to thank all of the sporting legends that donate their time to support such a worthy cause including Shane Warne, Jeff Fenech, AFL superstars, Olympians and the broader poker community.
I think Shane was more excited then Jackson, who played very well and was very respectful on the tables. Congratulation to Jackson Warne on winning a Kia Car from Chadstone Kia for finishing in first place.
